Set in the grounds of Lord Charlemont’s estate, Marino offers the convenience of the city with the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
Situated on Griffith Avenue, just 3.5km north of Dublin city centre, Marino is well linked with the Airport, M50 and the 123 bus which stops at our door. One can escape the hustle and bustle of the city by taking a stroll along the tree-lined avenue to local shops and nearby parklands.

How to find the Marino Conference Centre
By Car
From M50:
After the West Link Toll on the M50 drive towards towards Dublin Airport
Take the exit towards the city centre at Junction 3 onto the M1
Drive the M1 to the N1 towards the city centre
After the Regency Hotel, turn left onto Griffith Avenue.
At the fourth set of traffic lights on Griffith Avenue, take a left into the Charlemont Estate, leading to the entrance for the Marino Institute of Education on your right.
From Dublin Airport:
Exit Airport
Take M1, which becomes the N1, southbound towards Dublin city centre
Turn left onto Griffith Avenue after the Regency Hotel
At the fourth set of traffic lights on Griffith Avenue, take a left into the Charlemont Estate, leading to the entrance for the Marino Institute of Education on your right.
From Dublin City Centre
From the top of O’Connell Street, drive past Parnell Square to the Drumcondra Road
Follow signs to the airport
After the Skylon Hotel, take a right at the next large crossroads onto Griffith Avenue
At the fourth set of traffic lights on Griffith Avenue, take a left into the Charlemont Estate, leading to the entrance for the Marino Institute of Education on your right.
Public Transport – to/from city centre
Bus 123
The 123 stops outside Penney’s / Eason’s Bookshop at the bottom of O’Connell Street (bridge end) The bus in this direction will say ‘Marino’ as the destination.
It drops outside the gates of the Marino Institute of Education.
From Heuston Station we would recommend taking the Luas to O’Connell Street and then the 123 bus as detailed above.
Buses 27c, 29a & 42a
These buses run regularly to and from Connolly Station.
These take you up the Malahide Road. It is short walk from the junction of the Malahide Road and Griffith Avenue down Griffith Avenue to the Marino Institute of Education.
Public Transport from Dublin Airport
Bus 41 & 41b
These buses head to the City Centre from the airport via the Swords Road.
Get off the bus at the Regency Airport Hotel. Walk down the Swords Road and turn left onto Griffith Avenue.
Continue until you reach the Charlemont Estate. Turn left into the estate and the Marino Institute of Education is on your right.
Taxis are available from Dublin Airport.
The journey time should be approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic.
